ASSESSORS MEETING MINUTES

JANUARY 12, 2006

7:00 P.M.  Called meeting to order.  Present:  Paula Keefe, Richard Gorden and

                  Mark Mazur

1.  The Board granted a fiscal year 2003 abatement at the request of the Conservation

     Commission and under the authority of M.G.L. Chapter 59 Section 72A.  The

     property, parcel #083080000 was transferred to the Town on 7/11/02.

2.  The Board granted a fiscal year 2001 abatement at the request of the Conservation

     Commission and under the authority of M.G.L. Chapter 59, Section 72A.  The

     property, parcel #021084000 was transferred to the Town on 6/8/00.

3.  The Board granted a fiscal year 2001 abatement for parcel #029059000.  Part of

     it was granted under the authority of M.G.L. Chapter 59 Section 9 and the remainder

     was granted at the request of the Conservation Commission under the authority of

     M.G.L. Chapter 59, Section 72A.

4.  The Board read a letter in which the Administrative Assessor reserved a space on the

     2006 Annual Town Meeting warrant for an article that will allow the Board of

     Assessors to extend their current contract by an additional two years.

5.  The Board reviewed and approved the minutes to our 1/5/06 meeting.

6.  The Board read a letter from the Administrative Assessor to the Town Manager

     reserving a place on the spring 2006 annual town meeting warrant for an article

     that will allow us to extend our contract for data re-inspection an additional two

     years.

7.  The Board discussed upcoming meetings that are scheduled with the Priorities

     Committee and the Finance Committee.  We will be discussing new growth and

     overlay with both committees and we will be presenting our budget to the

     Finance Committee.

8.  The Board reviewed our overlay reserve, overlay release and new growth estimates.

9.  The Board took the following actions on FY2006 abatement applications for owners

     of the following properties:
